Brandix, Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporter, needed a faster, more secure, and user-friendly solution for staff access and attendance across its factory sites. Their existing card- and fingerprint-based systems faced misuse, wear-and-tear, and inefficiencies at entry points. Additionally, they required integration with their internal HR system for centralised attendance tracking and personnel validation.

Office Network (Pvt) Ltd, in partnership with Hikvision, deployed a fully integrated facial recognition barrier system across 15 entry channels at Brandix’s manufacturing facilities. Featuring swing barriers with facial recognition terminals, real-time verification, anti-tailgating, and HikCentral management software integrated with Brandix’s HR platform, the solution supports 10,000 face profiles and delivers rapid recognition in under 0.5 seconds, providing a secure, touch-free access experience even in demanding factory environments.

The new system significantly reduced fraudulent attendance, increased throughput efficiency at staff entry points, and enhanced overall security. Brandix has expressed interest in expanding the solution to more factory sites, highlighting its adaptability, stability, and seamless integration as key benefits.
